OZ Home Loan (ozhomeloan.au) is committed to protecting your privacy. This page explains in plain language what data we collect, what we use it for, and who it may be passed to.
The Short Version
OZ Home Loan provides information and tools about home loans in Australia. You can read the guides and use the calculators without giving us any personal details. If you choose to leave your contact details (for example in the enquiry form or in a chat with the site assistant), we pass them to Arrivau, the licensed home loan broker we work with, so they can follow up with you. Chat conversations are saved so we can provide the service.
OZ Home Loan itself is not a lender or a broker and does not hold a credit licence.
What We Collect
- Contact details you choose to give us: your name, and your email, phone number, WeChat ID or other way to reach you. We only receive these if you type them in.
- Your loan needs: the details you tell us about your situation or what you are looking for (for example purpose, loan amount, timing, or the figures you shared in a chat).
- Conversation content: the messages you send to the site assistant and the answers it gives, saved with limited technical information (such as time and page) for service, security and quality review.
- Website visit statistics: aggregate information such as pages viewed, referring page, device type and country.
What We Use It For
- Replying to your enquiry
- Passing your enquiry to Arrivau, a licensed home loan broker, so they can follow up with you
- Improving the guides, tools and assistant
We do not sell your information. Please do not put account numbers, tax file numbers, passport details or other sensitive identifiers in a chat message or form.
Who Sees It
Your details are shared only with Arrivau, to follow up your enquiry, and with the service providers that host and run this site (such as Cloudflare).
Other Technical Data
Server Logs
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare automatically records technical data for security and performance: access time, IP address (for DDoS protection), browser type, and pages visited. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
Analytics
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free tool that records only aggregate data such as page views and visitor country. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or any cookie-based tracking service.
Calculators
Figures you enter into the on-page calculators are used in your browser to produce the displayed estimate. They are not sent to us unless you choose to share them in a chat or enquiry.
Cookies
This site does not set any tracking cookies. Preferences such as dark mode are stored in your browser’s localStorage and never sent to any server.
Third-Party Links
Our guides link to lender websites, ASIC MoneySmart, the ATO, Housing Australia, and other external sources. These sites have their own privacy policies. Any sponsored content (clearly labelled) links to third parties such as BizCover, whose own privacy policies apply when you visit their sites.
Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the contact details and conversation content you have given us, and you can ask us to stop passing your details on. Email us at the address below. For any privacy concerns, contact us there as well.

We may update this policy as our site evolves. The “last updated” date at the top reflects any revisions.
